What will I learn in the Elemental Acupressure certification program?

In our classes you will learn the following:

  • Classical Chinese Five Element Theory to develop wellness programs for helping animals with a wide range of health conditions and behavioral issues

  • Hands-on acupressure and massage techniques to show you how to work safely and effectively with both large and small animals

  • The location and theory for over 70 acupoints to give you the acupressure “tools you need

  • EnergyWork techniques to strengthen your intuitive and energetic skills

  • Animal anatomy to give you a deeper understanding of the body’s structure

  • Session protocol to create a professional, successful working environment

What types of certificate do you offer?

We offer three types of certification.

  • Acupressure for Horses
  • Acupressure for Dogs and Small Animals
  • Combined Certification in Acupressure for Horses, Dogs and Small Animals 

Most of our courses cover acupressure for all animals. A small number of courses are species specific, for example horse anatomy or acupressure for canine hip dysplasia.

Most of our students choose to earn the Combined Certification for Horses, Dogs and Small Animals. For more detailed information about the courses required for each certificate, please refer to our course catalog.

Certification in Acupressure for Horses
256 hours

Certification in Acupressure for Dogs and Small Animals
256 hours

Combined Certification in Acupressure for Horses, Dogs and Small Animals
280 hours
