Description: This chart summarizes the basic equine Shiatsu routine taught by Elemental Acupressure. It presents a series of eighteen mini-routines which are specifically designed to relieve tension, address joint issues and encourage energy flow in different areas of the horse’s body. Mini-routines can be used to address a specific zone or can be blended into a seamless full-body massage sequence.
The front side of the chart shows the Shiatsu routine for the front half of the body, the reverse shows the routine for the back half. Shiatsu techniques and acupressure points for each mini-routine are grouped by body region. Acupressure points used for the routines are labeled on a diagram of a horse for quick reference.
